This page explains how Fit and Healthy Being researches, writes, reviews and updates its content. It applies to every article we publish.
How we research
We build each article from primary sources: peer-reviewed research, systematic reviews, and guidance from recognised medical and menopause societies. Where we state a fact or a statistic, we link to the source so you can read it yourself.
Education, not medical advice
Our content is for general education. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your history. Always speak with your own healthcare provider before making changes. See our Medical Disclaimer.
How we handle claims
We use careful, accurate language — "may help", "is associated with" — never cure claims or exact-outcome promises. We correct mistakes openly and show an "Updated" date on every article. Top articles are reviewed at least twice a year.
Medical review
We are adding a named, qualified medical reviewer to our health articles. Reviewed articles will carry a clear "Medically reviewed by" line with the reviewer's name and credentials.
